Safari does the work
Getting Hotline Money onto an iPhone is short work, and it is short because Safari already keeps the tool you need in its toolbar.
Sign in, open the share menu, add the page to your home screen. What lands there behaves like an app: its own icon and its own frame, with the browser out of the way. Tap it and the pre-round screen is in front of you.
Everything happens on the phone: one account, three taps. If the phone is in your hand, do it now and be playing in a minute.
Getting the sign-in right
The account deserves five minutes of attention, because everything after it is confirmation taps.
Make it on the iPhone, so nothing has to be moved across afterwards, and use details you will remember. Then set a deposit limit while you are already in the settings, because a limit chosen calmly now holds better than one picked halfway up a building.
Once the account exists it is the constant across every screen you own. The same credentials load the game on an iPad, on an Android handset and on a desktop, with the same balance behind them.
Naming the icon
A long name gets cut off under the icon, so keep it short. Two words at most. You will be looking for it at the end of an evening with one hand, and a clear label beats a complete one.
What the first climb looks like
Tap the icon and Hotline Money loads with your account attached. In the lobby, look for it with the instant titles rather than the reel slots.
The pre-bet screen asks for the risk mode first. There are two, Easy and Hard, and you choose before the first step.
Then the doors. Path A and path B are offered at every step, and you pick one each time the agent advances.
From there it is climb and choose. Each cleared floor builds on the last, the position grows, and withdraw stays live for the whole active round. Take it when you like. Decline it long enough and the floor sequence runs out, and what waits at the top is the boss.
Where everything sits on the iPhone screen
Hotline Money lays out for a portrait phone. The field with its 0/30 counter takes the upper half, Easy and Hard sit above the stake stepper, and the BET button closes the stack at thumb height. Autobet and Turbo are the two small toggles beside the field, and the Live, My and Top panels wait below the stake controls.
Why an iPhone suits this game
A run is a chain of one-tap decisions. Every action is a single tap, and input speed never matters.
Length helps too. A run is short enough for a queue or a train platform. If your next spare five minutes is coming up, put the icon there first.
Turbo tightens things further by shortening the pauses inside a round. Autobet does the opposite job and lets a stretch of play run without a tap between rounds, which suits an iPad propped up more than a phone held in the hand.
Checking a round from the phone
Verification works the same with an icon. Hotline Money is Provably Fair wherever it runs.
Three pieces come back with every finished round. The Round ID is the label for that round. The Salt is the string the client withheld while you climbed. The Hash was already on screen before your first step, committed to an outcome you could not yet see. Line the three up and the round you played matches the sealed one.
The check runs from the iPhone with the tools already on it. Try it after a climb that ended somewhere surprising, and you get a clear result. The fairness page sets out the order.
If you want to try before you sign in
The 100HP demo opens straight away on a fun balance. It loads in a frame on the play page of this site, and it is the quickest way to find Withdraw and see how the multiplier climbs.
The play page links it directly. Then come back, take the three moves in Safari, and put the neon where your thumb already goes.
